Rasbert Turner, Star Writer

Two men charged with the injury of entertainer Ewart 'Mad Cobra' Brown had their bails extended when they appeared in court yesterday.

Appearing before the Gun Court are Jahleel Johnson and Ryan McLaughlin, both of Braeton Phase One, Portmore, St Catherine.

The accuseds were told to return for their trial on September 29.

The appearance of Johnson and McLaughlin arose from a May 11 incident.

It is alleged that at 7 p.m., the complainant went into Braeton on business. An argument developed between Cobra and men in the community. Guns were drawn and he was shot.

He was subsequently taken to the Spanish Town Hospital.

Subsequent investigations led to the two accused been charged with shooting with intent and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
