Brazen thieves carried out a broad daylight robbery at the Bijoux Duty Free Shop in New Kingston, St Andrew, just meters away from the New Kingston Police Post.

Information reaching THE STAR is that some time around 11 a.m., two men entered the store which is located along Dominica Drive, and brandished guns before proceeding to rob a number of workers and customers who were there.

The men then reportedly made off with an undetermined sum of cash, jewellery and cellular phones.

THE STAR was told that the police are still collecting information in connection with the incident, and as such they were unable to say much about how the incident could have occurred without them noticing.
