Three persons shot, one fatal in Spanish Town |

Three persons were shot, one fatally, near the St Catherine Parish Council building, Eman-cipation Square, Spanish Town, St Catherine, last night. The dead man has been identified only as 'Tougher' of Rivoli in Spanish Town. The other injured parties The Star learnt were security guards employed to watch the council's property. Police said about 9:10 p.m. the three were seated near the council's premises. They were approached by a man who pulled a gun and fired shots hitting all three. He then escaped. The scene was processed by investigators from the St Catherine North Homicide Unit. The Star was told that 'Tougher' and one of the guards got shot to the upper body, while the other suffered leg injuries. No motive has been established for the shooting. |
