Some of the top three earned their redemption points and brought energy to last Sunday's Digicel Rising Stars. In a somewhat surprising results show Nekorah Phillips was sent home, to the disapproval of many in the Courtleigh Auditorium, leaving Jermaine Michaels, Camaley and Dalton Harris to battle it out for the winning spot. Performing a 'redemption song', a song chosen by them to showcase their voices, as well as a duet with an established entertainer, the energy for the night was high. Before leaving, Nekorah performed her duet with Turbulence for 'We Got The Love'.

Dalton Harris kicked off the show with a bang performing 'The One That You Love' which got a loud response from the crowd. Filling in for judge Nadine Sutherland, Cindy Breakspeare thought he handled the song well while Anthony Miller commented, "I heard every single note, it's way better than last week ... what I liked about it was that you sang with feeling and passion, good performance." Performing with past winner Cameal Davis for his duet 'Hate How Much I Love You', the two turned up the heat with their performance. Clyde McKenzie commented, "when yuh lock that voice wid the young lady it was magical." Miller thought it was an "ok" performance while Breakspeare thought the two looked good together.

Camaley tried an ambitious song for her first number with Mariah Carey's 'Vision of Love' as Breakspeare commented that the song might not have done her well but it was a good performance. Miller thought her singing was "screechy" while McKenzie thought it was a good performance but hard to follow after Dalton Harris' first song. Performing with Cherine Anderson for 'You And Me', Camaley looked at ease with the singer as Miller commented, "the first song was out of your vocal range but this time you looked nice and sounded good."

Jermaine Michaels showed off his vocal talents with 'Hero' while Miller thought that he "dug deep" and did reasonably well and McKenzie said, "Jermaine I think you did a reasonable performance...I need you to reclaim yourself with that second song." Bringing on Khago for 'Nah Sell Out Mi Friend Dem', Khago took the spotlight during the performance singing most of the song himself. The song, however, got a lot of reaction from the studio audience. Breakspeare thought Michaels was lost in the song but his performance was good, with Miller saying, "someone should have told Khago he wasn't the rising star but the people will remember vibes and you latched unto the popular."

Overall, however, the judges unanimously believed the night belonged to Dalton Harris, with Miller commenting that it took the contestants a long time to reach this level of action and performance.
