Women stabbed to death, another injured |

|
Two women were stabbed to death and another left battling for her life during an incident in Harmony Hall, St Mary, last night. Up to press time last night, the police were not able to give much information, but it is understood that a man, said to be a relative of two of the women, was held and taken into custody in connection with the incident. A caller to the newsroom, who claimed she is a relative of two of the women, said one of the dead woman was her mother and the injured woman was her sister. She said the other dead woman was a helper at the house where her mother lived with the injured sister. She identified her mother as Ruby White and could only identify the helper as a Miss Spence. Up to late last night, police were still at the murder scene and said they could not give much information until further crime scene investigations were done. |
