The Portland police have charged 26-year-old carpenter, Darren Graham, for the shooting death of a man whose body was found riddled with bullets on June 12. Graham is charged for the fatal shooting of 51-year-old taxi operator and farmer, Trevor Hutchinson better known as 'Tek A Set', of Skebo, in the parish. Investigators said that on June 12 they received several calls from residents informing them that they heard several explosions in their community. The police said upon their arrival, Hutchinson's bullet-riddled body was found in bushes along the Spring Garden main road. The police also said Hutchinson's car was found burnt out along the Enfield main road in St Mary. The police have also theorised that Graham may have been a passenger in the car, shortly before Hutchinson's death. Now after months of investigation, Graham was arrested and charged with arson, murder, illegal possession of a fire arm and ammunition, as well as robbery with aggravation. The carpenter is booked to appear in the Port Antonio Resident Magistrate court on Friday to answer to the charges. |
