Suspect in custody for retired teacher's death |

The Manchester police now have a 26-year-old man in custody in connection with his mother's death in the parish yesterday. THE STAR understands that the woman, a retired teacher in the parish, was reportedly found with her throat slashed. She has been identified as 64-year-old Daisy Stulz-Smith. It is reported that the incident occurred in Dunsinane district about 2:30 a.m. It is reported that Smith was asleep when an assailant kicked off her bedroom door and attacked her. It is reported that the male suspect over the past few months have been in several altercations with family relatives. Investigations are ongoing. |
