I-Octane ignites Red Stripe Football Mondays

I-Octane ignited the half-time show of Red Stripe Football Mondays at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex on Monday night. With Portmore leading Montego Bay United 1-0 at the half, Octane made an unannounced appearance in the middle of the field as he performed to a packed house in Arnett Gardens.

Red Stripe Football Mondays made its debut for the second-round final, which newly promoted team Montego Bay United won 3-1 on penalties. The new TV show, which is part of Red Stripe's sponsorship of the Red Stripe Premier League, is aired every Monday night on CVM TV at 9 p.m. and features top-notch production quality of the weekly featured games.

Clad in a simple black tee and black jeans, I-Octane's performance was well received as he delivered No Ramp Wid Wi, Nah Wash (Licki Licki), Study Yu Friends, Lose a Friend, Burn Dem Bridge and Mama You Alone.

Arnett Gardens residents and fans who turned out for the pre-show were also treated to a party atmosphere at the entrance to the stadium with ZJ Liquid and Kool Face playing a string of hits. The celebratory feel also extended to the bars, with Red Stripe offering a $100 beer special.

Red Stripe Football Mondays is hosted by commentators Lance Whittaker, Wayne Walker and Gareth 'G-John' Geddes, with the beautiful Kiki doing live links from the stands. Next Monday's match will feature Harbour View and Humble Lion at 9 p.m. on CVM TV.
