German businessman remanded again

German businessman Sven Littkowski, who has been implicated in a child pornography case, was further remanded in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday.

Littkowski is facing three counts of possession of child pornography.

The matter has been rescheduled to February 20 because the court was told that the file was incomplete.

The court was also told that the police were still extracting materials from computers and hard drives seized at Littkowski's premises.

Littkowski was charged last Wednesday following an operation that was conducted at his home by the Denham Town police.

It is alleged that several computers and hard drives on which sexually explicit photographs and videos of minors are stored were seized.

The case file and evidence were subsequently referred to the Organised Crime Investigation Division (OCID) for further investigations.

It is further alleged that OCID investigators also obtained evidence, which indicated that the accused illegally performed the duties of a doctor.

It is alleged that he provided fertility treatments for women.
