Customer wins JN Money Transfer Cards rewards |
|||||
![]() Ann-Marie Wisdom from Alexandria, St Ann, is congratulated by Angella Boothe, branch manager, Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS), Duke Street in Kingston, after she won a cash prize in the JN Money Transfer Back-to-School promotion last year. Wisdom was able to win the prize because she used her JN Money Transfer Card regularly to access funds remitted to her. She praises the JN Money Transfer Card for its convenience and safety. JN Money Transfer Cards may be accessed free of charge at any JNBS branch or JN Money Shop, while customers overseas can sign up for Rewards Cards at any JN Money Transfer branch overseas. - Contributed The prospect of living in an almost 'cashless' society is impacting the lives of many people, such as Ann-Marie Wisdom, a high-spirited young mother of two living in Alexandria, St Ann, who owns a JN Money Transfer Card. "It makes a big difference in my life," she said. Wisdom receives regular remittances from her husband who works in the Cayman Islands, and said that the value of her card became most critical during the recent Christmas season and the back-to-school period. "I don't like to walk around with significant amounts of cash on me," she said. Therefore, JN Money Transfer Card plays a vital role, and is especially beneficial during the back-to-school rush, when she needs quick access to funds in a somewhat chaotic environment. "I simply go into the stores and use my JN Money Transfer card to pay for the books and school supplies," said Wisdom, who has owned her JN Money Transfer Card for nearly three years. "It's just like a debit card, and I use it to collect funds at an automated teller machine to make purchases at point-of-sale locations, at no additional cost." Access to great benefits In addition to the convenience her JN Money Transfer card affords her, Wisdom has found that by using her card frequently, she also has access to great benefits. In fact, she was recently a winner in one of JN Money Transfer's many promotions, receiving a $35,000 cash prize that was very useful in covering back-to-school expenses. Gabriel Heron, marketing and business development manager at JN Money Services Limited, which operates the JN Money Transfer brand, underscores the benefits of the card and other JN Money Transfer and QuikCash Rewards Cards which are offered to customers both locally and at JN Money Transfer and QuikCash locations overseas. "Customers may use any of our rewards cards to access discounts or other benefits at several merchants locally and in selected overseas locations. In fact, there are more than 200 merchants across the island who will offer fantastic rewards when you show them your JN Money Transfer Card," Heron said, noting that local merchants included pharmacies, restaurants, hotels and visitor attractions. "And what is most important is that all of our rewards cards are easy to access and easy to use," Heron explained, adding that there was no cost to access rewards cards. "Local customers can sign up for the JN Money Transfer Card at any Jamaica National Building Society branch or JN Money Shop, while customers overseas can sign up for the rewards card at any JN Money Transfer branch overseas," he said. 250 branches With more than 250 branches and agents strategically located throughout the United States of America (USA), Canada, the United Kingdom (UK), Ghana and the Caribbean, JN Money Transfer is well positioned in the global money transfer services market to serve the needs of diaspora communities, Heron said. The remittance company also has agent locations in The Bahamas, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Dominica. A fully Jamaican-owned brand, JN Money Transfer is actively growing its operations in countries, such as the USA, Canada, the UK, Ghana, the Cayman Islands and the Bahamas. "JN Money Transfer has proven to be safe, convenient and affordable, while offering a range of benefits that more than satisfy the needs of customers," Heron maintained.
