|
Motorists and pedestrians are being warned to obey all posted warning signs and instructions of flag persons during the closure of the May Pen Rail Bridge, located along Main Street in Clarendon on Wednesday. The National Works Agency is advising that the bridge will be temporarily closed between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. This is to facilitate repairs to structural defects on the bridge. Motorists travelling from the direction of Minerals Heights, Clarendon Park or Palmers Cross towards the town centre should use the alternative route through the Bustamante Highway, Glenmuir Road, Anderson Drive then on to Manchester or Sharpe avenues. The reverse obtains for motorists travelling from the town centre in the direction of Mineral Heights, Clarendon Park or Palmers Cross. |
