East Portmore Portals striker Keino Walker struck a hat-trick of goals as his team whipped Bridgeport 3-1 in a LIME Portmore Division Two football league match at the Westchester field last weekend. Walker now has eight goals for the season.

The win saw Portals leapfrog Daytona into fourth spot on 19 points and kept them in contention for a semi-final place. Carl Davidson netted for Bridgeport (10 points) and his team will surely end the season in seventh place in the eight-team standings.

In the feature match at the venue, Hellshire United held league leader Westchester 0-0 in a top-of-the-tables clash.

Hellshire's Rohan Grant missed a penalty in the early stages of the match, while Westchester's veteran striker Orlando Bryan botched a penalty late in the game. The result meant Westchester moved to 26 points, and remain on top of the standings while Hellshire inched to 21 points and are on the verge of qualification for the next round with one game to go. At Ferdie Neita Park, Westport became the second team to qualify for the semi-finals as they clipped Daytona 1-0 while Braeton United jumped to 17 points as they tagged minnows Garveymeade 2-0 in the early game. The competition continues tomorrow.
