Dutch artiste pleased to work with Bobby Digital |

Miriam Simone - Contributed Dutch female reggae musician Miriam Simone is pleased to be working with veteran producer Bobby Digital on her upcoming album. The album, which is yet to be named, will include songs such as Almighty, Disappointed, Holy Jah and Yuh Know How To Love Me with Fyakin. They have already recorded 10 songs for the album and are looking to put the finishing touches on the project. "I'm very grateful and I'm thankful that I'm working with a good producer. Bobby Digital, he got a good name but the music speaks for itself. I know that the songs they are good. Bobby Digital gave me a great opportunity and I'm happy for that. Chuck Fenda is also one who inspired me," she shared. Singing for about 12 years, the artiste from Amsterdam, Netherlands, said she hopes to achieve recognition from her hard work. "It's all for the love of music. I want to just keep growing and to get a lot better. As long as I can do music I will be okay. It's not about the fame or the fortune, I just love reggae music. When I was younger I used to listen to reggae music a lot. Reggae is my heart, it's the kind of music that I love the most," she said. Miriam Simone's beginnings in music came at the tender age of 13 when she started to jam with several bands around Amsterdam. At 18, she worked as a background singer for hip-hop/reggae group Postmen and later joined the group, Dredda Youths. |
