Massive crowd at Rumbar Chug It in MoBay

A Massive crowd, totalling over 17,000 patrons, descended on Aquasol Theme Park last Sunday as Rumbar Chug It rocked Montego Bay, St James.

The sold-out crowd raved about the ultimate beach party experience.

"Beach, great music, Rumbar, plus a bargain entry fee at the gate equals to the simple formula for the huge success for Rumbar Chug It party series - the must-go all-inclusive Sunday event that's on everyone's lips," one of the promoters said.

After much anticipation, RumBar Chug It premiered in the Second City and delivered like a party should. Montego Bay's Hip Strip was taken over by dazzling females in bikinis and high-energy music that permeated the air.

Extended queue

From as early as 3:45 p.m., there was an extended queue from the main road leading to the entrance. The party got under way at 4:15 p.m., and patrons enjoyed music from hometown selectors DJ Blue, DJ Tippy, DJ Jigga, King Pin, and Kentucky.

Popular recording artiste Tommy Lee headlined the live-performance segment with an energetic performance that was on point with the unwavering crowd.

Camar, Chi Ching Ching, and Laden made celebrity appearances.

"Montego Bay asked for Chug It and they got Chug It. It was nothing short of fun, real vibe, good people, and great music," emphasised Andrew French, event promoter.

Commenting on the turnout, he said: "We thank everyone who attended, those who were fortunate to get in, those who didn't get entry due to the maximised capacity, and the hundreds of loyal patrons who travelled from Kingston to party at Chug It in MoBay. We will definitely need a larger venue for the next staging."
