The Bureau of Special Investigations is now investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man by the Police in Galloway, Bethel Town, Westmoreland, yesterday evening.

The dead man has been identified as 32-year-old Ammando Wynter, otherwise called 'Winterfresh', also of a Galloway address.

One Armscor 12-gauge shotgun and three 12-gauge cartridges were seized.

The matter has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations.
