GEORGE HENRY, STAR Writer A Clarendon man is now dead, while another is behind bars following a stabbing incident at Fairview district, Ritchies, in that parish early Thursday morning. Dead is 26-year-old Kemar Palmer, unemployed of the same address, while behind bars is 36-year-old taxi operator Christopher White, also of Fairview district. Police reports are that at about 1:55 a.m. Thursday, the two men were at a bar in their district drinking among a group of men when White allegedly attacked Palmer with a knife. A struggle ensued and White managed to take the knife away from Palmer. It is reported that White then used the knife to stab Palmer in the left side of his neck. He was rushed to the Percy Junor Hospital for medical attention, but died while he was undergoing treatment. White is now facing a murder charge. The Spalding police are investigating.
