A man who is charged with the murder of another man was offered $250,000 bail with surety in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. He is Odine Campbell of an Old Hope Road address, who was told to give his fingerprints to the police. The court heard that on May 9, both men, who shared a tenement dwelling, were involved in an altercation when the accused man used an iron pipe to beat the deceased in his head and inflict other wounds to his body. The injured man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Campbell was later picked up and arrested by the police.
