The police seized a firearm and nine rounds of ammunition on Grants Pen Avenue, St Andrew, yesterday afternoon.

Reports from the Grants Pen Police are that a special assignment was being conducted when a Browning 9mm pistol and nine rounds of ammunition were found on a premises in the area.

No arrest has been made in connection with the find.

Investigations continue.
