Seven listed as persons of interest |

A man who was injured in Saturday night's killing of two men in August Town, St Andrew, shows his injuries on Sunday. - Errol Crosby Seven of nine men listed as wanted or persons of interest since the Constabulary Communication Network released their names and identities on Sunday, have turned themselves in. The men were named following Saturday's killing of Rohan Simpson, 39, otherwise called 'Troy' and 'Bat', and Moses Francis in August Town, St Andrew. Yesterday police said those in custody are: Omar Walker, otherwise called 'Thirteen'; Romaine Simmonds, otherwise called 'Robba'; Marvin Dubidad, otherwise called 'Simeon'; Julando Stephens, otherwise called 'Pelpa'; Michael Stephens, otherwise called 'Scrappy'; Nicholas Nesbeth and Jehus Ferguson. Police said the other men yet to turn themselves in are: Dwayne 'Chicky Bird' Markland of August Town Road, Kingston 7. He is of fair complexion, slim build, about 175 centimetres (5 feet 9 inches) tall and is believed to be in his early 20s. Rohan 'Tuffy' Miles of August Town Road, Kingston 7. He is of dark complexion, slim build and about 160 centimetres (5 feet 3 inches) tall and sports a dreadlocked hairstyle. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of these men are being asked to contact the Papine police at 927-2047 or 927-2849, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station. |
