Jamaican faces assualt charges in Bermuda
A Jamaican man is among three men accused of forcing a woman to perform a sex act at gunpoint in Bermuda.

According to a report in the Bermuda Sun, Jamaican Olice Morgan, 31; Triston Burgess, 19 and another 19-year-old who was not named because of legal reasons, pleaded not guilty at a monthly arraignment session in that country yesterday.

The men have been charged with possession of a firearm, using a firearm to commit an indictable offence and assault with intent to rob.

THE STAR understands that on March 19, about 10:30 p.m., the men allegedly entered the woman's home in Hamilton and assaulted her.

The court heard that they also stole cash, cellphones, electronics, jewellery and various other items.

THE STAR has learnt that all three men were remanded in custody.

A trial date was set for September 24.
