KIA Motors Jamaica will be transporting Stacey-Ann Clark and a guest to the ultra-inclusive event Absinthe set for tomorrow at the Morgan's Harbour Hotel. Clark, who was the winner of Absinthe's 'Summer Chic' social media contest in which she garnered more than 3000 votes, also won herself a bastion of other prizes. In a release to THE STAR, Gersham Greene, chief marketing officer of Syndicate Events (the promoters of Absinthe) commented that the winner will receive a Samsung Galaxy courtesy of Digicel, a makeover courtesy of Hair Extreme and will be spending the night at the Morgan's Harbour Hotel, courtesy of Syndicate Events and the hotel. KIA's sales and marketing vice president, Ian Lyn, said that the contest was an excellent opportunity to showcase just how much the KIA brand has evolved. "There is no car like the KIA Optima and we thought it was a fantastic idea to have the competition with Absinthe as part of our sponsorship of the event. Stacey-Ann will no doubt turn heads and make waves when she and her guest step out of the Optima. It will be an incredible moment for the party," Lyn said in the release. While noting that KIA remains interested in partnering with creative promoters, he said that Absinthe was one of the events that his company had to be a part of. "Absinthe is a perfect representation of the explosive, entertaining and exhilarating energy of the KIA brand. You will notice that KIA will be at a couple of events, showcasing our cars and welcoming people to the new KIA family," Lyn said.
