Bullet-riddled body found in Stony Hill |

A bullet-riddled body is what residents in Stony Hill, St Andrew, stumbled upon yesterday morning after they launched a massive search for a man who they say was abducted by thugs Thursday night. Information reaching THE STAR is that the body was discovered around 10:30 a.m. The dead man has been identified as 36-year-old Gary Duncan from the community. He was allegedly kidnapped from his girlfriend's home. Reports reaching THE STAR are that around 1 a.m., gunmen entered a house along Airy Castle Road and tied up the occupants which included Duncan's girlfriend He was taken from the home. The residents say they heard loud explosions shortly after. When our news team visited the crime scene, one resident who wanted to remain anonymous said, "A down the coconut walk next to the river dem find him. Three gunshot him get." Another member of the community told our news team that a war over stolen guns and who should be crowned the don was the reason for the man's death. When contacted, the St Andrew North police said, "We have heard of some on-and-off criminal activities in that particular community, to which we have been monitoring, our intelligence is at work so we will be investigating this one to see what we can uncover". |
