The much-anticipated Guinness Pre-Release kicked off Wednesday June 27 to a great start.

With Twitter messages including "Zj Liquid a you name missa sen a road", "ZJ Liquid and Guinness really believe inna Dancehall", and "ZJ Liquid you always a try buss d youtes", the event was poised to be successful.

The event kicked off promptly at 10 p.m., with ZJ Liquid taking control of the turntables at 11p.m. Patrons showed their appreciation of the juggling by begging for pull-ups and knocking on the roof and walls and anything else that could make noise to signal their enjoyment.

ZJ Liquid featured new songs and rhythms that he pre-selected from the many emails and CDs he collected prior to the event. At 1 a.m., Little Richie brought even more energy with his juggling of current hits, which kept the crowd on a high. While Little Richie kept the pace, ZJ Liquid was busy walking through the crowd collecting CDs from patrons who wanted their song to be featured at the event.

After listening to these songs, ZJ Liquid included them in his final segment. This brought a burst of energy to the artistes and producer who were hearing their songs for the first time being played at the club.

The event came to a close at 4 a.m. and it was evident that patrons had a great time and had truly enjoyed the concept of the event as well as being able to get Guinness at a good deal throughout the night.

Wada Blood, Beenie Man, Fambo, Chi Ching Ching, Laden, Serani, Rain Seville, Zj Wah Wa, Guinness brand manager Jermaine Bibbons, and Zj Sparks were just some of the celebrities spotted at the event.

The summer calendar for Guinness Pre-Release will be July 11 and 25 and August 15 and 29 at the Quad nightclub.

These two took time out for the camera during all the excitement at Guinness Pre-Release.
