Rasbert Turner, Star Writer The father of a six-year-old whose body was found inside an abandoned motor car said he suspects foul play was involved in his child's death. "In my view, the police have enough information to make an arrest as the investigation so far shows them clearly what to do, " Davian Davis said. The disgruntled father said the boy was his only son and he is really saddened by his death. " It is strange that the body was found covered under a canvas. It shows that he was killed and placed inside the vehicle," Davis said. He is now faced with burial expenses and a funeral set for July 22. Davis said he is very worried that after the burial no action will be taken by the police. When The Star contacted the Ewarton police it was revealed that the investigation was ongoing. On June 28 about 10 p.m, the body of Davaun Davis, a student of the Nutshell Basic School, was found inside a car. An investigation was launched and persons were held. They were later released Meanwhile, the police said that tests done on the body revealed that the cause of death is inconclusive. |
