Ninja, Prodigal Son all set for Gleaner's Icons Concert |

( L - R ) Ninja Man, Prodigal Son 'The Don Gorgon' Ninja Man says he is ready to deliver a show-stopping performance at the Gleaner's Icons Concert scheduled for Saturday, July 28, at the St William Grant Park in downtown Kingston. This will be Ninja Man's first major performance since getting bail. "Portia say she tun up the ting, but me nah tun up the ting, me a go set up the ting. Mi a di original dancehall lyricist and dancehall icon Gleaner's Icons Show is a show weh Ninja Man haffi pass through and give a nice performance and show dem say mi deh ya again. Trust me, the people dem a go get a performance whe dem deserve," Ninja Man told THE STAR. The massive free concert, which is organised by The Gleaner Company, is also being sponsored by Lime, Guinness and CB Chicken, and will be the final event for the downtown Kingston three-day shopping and entertainment event. Another artiste on the event, gospel performer Prodigal Son, says his fans can look out for a Holy Ghost-filled performance. "Fans can look out for authentic, hardcore, energetic gospel. I'll bring the thanksgiving to the event," Prodigal Son said. The event is slated to kick off at 9 p.m. and will feature other artistes such as Bounty Killer, Spice, Demarco, Elephant Man, Ken Boothe, Carlene Davis, Omari and others.
