Stop peeping, watch porn |

Dear Pastor,
Why do some people still need to peep at others, even now in 2012 when they can watch porn videos on the Internet without leaving their homes or being a bother to anyone? I think it is the suspense of possibly getting caught that excite voyeurs and increase their adrenaline rush. It is like a game to them. I don't think these stores that caters to voyeurism help much either because they encourage people to be satisfied with their separate fantasies instead of pursuing healthy interaction with others. B.J. Dear B.J., Some people believe it is only men who love to peep, but some women love to peep also. I understand that women who peep are called 'Peeping Janes' and men 'Peeping Toms'. People get kicks from pornographic literature, videos, pictures and looking at individuals who work in clubs where customers pay to see them strip and dance in the nude. Some people have lost their eyes because others have caught them peeping and take revenge. Some who peep might do so for entertainment, others might be suffering from a sexual disorder and need professional help. Pastor |
