Portmore poised for semi-final spot

Defending champions Portmore United (four points) are poised to join already-qualified cumberland (10 points) in the semi-final of the Colin Fagan-sponsored Portmore U-15 Football League. The second-place team in Zone B have a relatively easy opponent in Reid's Pen in their penultimate match at the Passagefort field this afternoon at 3:00.

A win for Portmore, who were held 1-1 by Cumberland last Monday, will see them taking their place along with Cumberland and the two teams from Zone A, Wanderers and runners-up East Portmore Portals, in the semi-finals. Portmore have the biggest win to date in the competition as they clobbered Bridgeport 12-0 in their first game of the season.
