Big gospel link-up for Denbigh |

Coming on the heels of Best Dressed Fun In The Son - Jamaica Broilers through brands Ace Super Centre and Hi-Pro Feeds with producers Glory Music have brought together DJ Nicholas, Carlene Davis, Goddy Goddy and others to this the 60th Anniversary of Denbigh under the theme Denbigh Gospel Extravaganza. The major concert which will take place on Sunday, August 5 at the Denbigh Showground, Clarendon, will be filled with music the entire family can enjoy. Glory Music has been promoting gospel at Denbigh since 1999 when it was called Gospel at Sunset, and each year the event has outdone the audience of its previous years; as such, has become a major attraction at the three-day event. special occasion This year not only celebrates 60 years of Denbigh but also coincides with Jamaica's first Jubilee, and for this special occasion, the event which begins at 6:30 p.m., will go until midnight. After which, worship and prayer will begin and will be spearheaded by some of the most recognised gospel ministers including, gospel recording artiste, Kevin Downswell, Sister Scully, Keron Ennis, and others, while Pastor Naila Ricketts of Prayer 2000 will lead in prayer for the country.◊ In addition, other gospel ministers include special guest, Kimiela Issacs, who will also be joined by Septimus and pre-centre stage artistes, Marsha Daniels, Sister Nicki, Camille Salmon and Julia Grant.
