The Jamaican colours have undoubtedly taken over the entire island.

In this the 50th year of Independence, Jamaicans have been showing patriotism to their country by donning the black, green and gold in all aspects.

From the way we dress to the decor on almost every building, the loyalty can be felt.

And with the Olympics in the air, Jamaicans are preparing for what might be our best performance at the games yet.

The anticipations are high and so too are the number of flags and other paraphernalia being sold daily.

Here are some of the Jamaicans who have decided to show off their colours.
