Accused woman pleads guilty
An unemployed woman who has been accused of stealing a quantity of clothing valued at $6,000 pleaded guilty and is to return to the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court today for sentencing.

The accused, 19-year-old Dyona Pusey, from Walderston district in Manchester, has been slapped with a charge of simple larceny.

She was ordered to pay restitution when she returns to court.

Allegations are that on Monday July 23, the accused slept overnight at the complainant's home in Seaview Gardens.

According to court documents, the accused woman's sister also resides at the home.

On Wednesday July 25, Pusey returned to the house but when she left several pieces of the complainant's clothing were found to be missing.

A report was made to the police and the accused was later pointed out.

She was subsequently arrested and charged.

When cautioned, she said "Offica a mi sista gi mi di clothes dem ano me tek dem."
