Man charged for assaulting fiancée
A man accused of assaulting his fiancée, was told by Senior Resident Magistrate (RM) Georgiana Fraser to return to the Corporate Area Resident Magis-trate's Court on September 3.

He is Roberto Davis, charged with assault occasioning bodily harm. He was ordered fingerprinted.

The court heard that Davis, who had a relationship with the complainant, got into an altercation which resulted in the woman being injured.

The complainant requested that Senior RM Georgiana Fraser make an order that Davis surrender keys belonging to her dwelling, but was told by the RM to take the matter to the Sutton Street Court instead.

Senior RM Fraser then enquired of the man if he had an attorney to which the man replied that he needed more time. He then proceeded to explain the matter to the RM but she would hear none of it, and stated that he should reserve that for his attorney.

Subsequent to this both parties were ordered to return in September.
