Nature's 'World Peace' takes top spot |

Nature - File Down Sound Records artiste Nature scored his first number-one single this week with 'World Peace', which rocketed to the top of the "It feels great to know that World Peace has built up this kind of momentum since it is the kind of conscious song that the world needs right now. World Peace might sound like a pipe dream, but it is something that we should all aspire towards. The song itself, The single, produced on the Down Sound Records imprint, has also popped up on reggae charts in Kenya, Australia, and France. The video for the single peaked at #3 on the CVM Hitlist charts. It also held the In the meantime, Nature will be releasing a video for his latest single, Trying Man, this week. He is pleased with the financial and creative muscle that Down Sound Records has placed behind his career. "Down Sound and Josef Bogdanovich have the capabilities and resources to manage artistes. Things are moving in the direction I've always wanted to go," he said. Nature is also known for the singles Mama You Saved Me and Wasting Time; however it is the World Peace song that has opened up doors for him internationally. According to Nature, World Peace has racked up more than 100,000 views on YouTube since its release two months ago. "I am getting a lot of feedback on Twitter and Facebook and the bookings are coming in to Down Sound. I did a lot of shows over the summer, but now it appears that Europe is showing a keen interest, so I am expecting great things in the future," Nature said. Nature is working on a yet-to-be titled album which will be released this fall on the DSR imprint. He is also in negotiations for upcoming tours. |
