Wallet stolen at police station |

Rasbert Turner, Star Writer A member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, in St Catherine, is still smarting from the theft of his wallet at the station where he is attached. "I can't really believe dat. Is at the station the wallet gone missing with all of my valuables. It is very shocking to me," the victim said. The policeman said he lost documents plus $12,800. "I have lost the police identification card, overseas drivers' licence, insurance card, plus other important documents," the constable told The Star. Reports are that about 9:30 a.m. yesterday, the policeman was at the barracks getting ready for court. He placed his wallet in the barrack room and went to the bathroom. Upon his return, he realised that his wallet was missing. The policeman sounded an alarm and started to search frantically for his belongings. A report has since been made at the Old Harbour Police Station. Meanwhile, residents of the community are having a ball with the news of the missing wallet.
