The Half-Way Tree Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) is seeking the public's assistance in a case that is now before the Half-Way Tree Resident Magistrate's Court. According to investigators, in 2009, the owner of Henry's Imports, located at 78 Slipe Road, Kingston 5, registered the company, fraudulently stating his name as Andrew Henry. Henry, whose real name is Marcus Copeland, collected money from the public for the importation of vehicles to Jamaica. Copeland, who is now in police custody, is to appear before the Half-Way Tree Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday, September 20. The Half-Way Tree CIB is asking anyone who may have done business with Henry's Imports to contact them at 926-2551. |
