Lighthouse snatch final semi-final spot |

Lighthouse Assembly snatched the final semi-final spot in the Power of Faith Ministries (PFM) Church Netball League last week, but it wasn't easy. Lighthouse were pushed all the way before they prevailed 21-19 over Holiness Apostolic in their final preliminary game. Mellisha Scarlett led the way for Lighthouse with 18 goals from 26 attempts. She was supported by Keisha Osbourne who sank three of eight tries. The Holiness shooters struggled in the goal circle and it cost them the match. Keisha Osbourne scored 18 goals from all of 36 attempts and Ashaneka scored two goals from seven tries. The semi-finals are on today. The semi-final pairing pit, PFM against Cedar Grove Baptist, at 1:00 p.m., while at 2:30 p.m., Waltham Park New Testament takes on Lighthouse Assembly. |
