While it was the final performance show and they got the chance to sing two songs, Sharona Jonas was the one who brought the heat at the Digicel Stars live show on Sunday at the Courtleigh Auditorium, New Kingston.

Richie Bless, in his first attempt, was not very impressive with notes that were mostly flat. But in his second try, he almost impressed pop mentor Conroy Wilson, who said, "the performance was fair." The other mentors thought he brought range to his song on this occasion, with his gospel mentor Carlene Davis noting that he followed her instructions and ended the performance on a "nice high".

After Sharona Jonas' first song, D-Major said she is "arguably the best talent left in the competition." But her second performance was what really stood out on Sunday night. Accompanied by two violinists, Sharona gave a passionate performance that was accompanied by some theatrics.

"Yuh just set the bar fi everybody," D-Major said. Wilson added that the contestant is a star because notable persons in the entertainment industry helped with the performance.

Wilson was also pleased with gospel's Lawayne McLean's first song choice. So, too, were the other mentors. However, their views varied for the second song, with some judges saying it was one of her better vocal performances, while others said she had pitch problems in parts.

DSL had a slip-up when he did renditions of Make You Sweat and Grooving My Girl. Despite his error, the criticisms from the judges were fair, as they said he started the performance well. As the final contestant to perform, he held his own when he sang I-Octane's My Story.

Davis was impressed that he stepped out of the box, while D-Major said, "you look like a star now, youth." Proud of DSL, his mentor Koffy said, "Di fact seh you leave everything on the stage, win, lose or draw, mi proud a yuh."

The show closed with Ikaya, who thrilled the audience with Fly Away.
