The police say a six-year-old boy who was thought to be kidnapped from his home in Port Royal on Tuesday night, has returned home. According to investigators from the Port Royal Police Station, the boy was actually taken by his father without the knowledge of the other relatives, but was returned to them on Wednesday. The cops say legal advice was sought on the issue, and it has been determined that under law, no crime was committed, as both parents have legal rights to their child. The family has since been informed of this information, and has been advised of their available options. Investigators say that the matter is still being monitored. |
