Two stages, one party at In2ition |

Montego Bay's first dual stage show event is expected to epitomise how entertainment events are done in Jamaica with the first staging of In2ition by InTrendsik Promotions at Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex on October 27. "This is an exclusive soca Jouvert and dancehall event that will be going on simultaneously," the public relations and marketing director of InTrendsik Promotions, Seretse 'Mikey' Bell, said at the launch of the event at Pier One in Montego Bay last Wednesday. "We wanted to bring something different in the staging of this event and we believe patrons will have a wow experience with what we have planned come October 27 in Montego Bay," he further underscored. same venue Two stages will be set up at the same venue, which is home to Reggae Sumfest. On the soca stage, patrons will get the chance to see Machel Montano, Destra, Patrice Roberts, Little Rick, Shall Marshal, Farmer Natty and Super Jigga. The dancehall stage will play host to Lady Saw, Demarco, I-Octane, Konshens, Montego Bay's own Tommy Lee, Jah Vinci, Qubanis and JR Daine. "Patrons will have freedom of movement to access and experience both stage shows. A lot of effort has been put into ensuring that all our patrons will have ease of access, secure parking and an unforgettable entertainment experience. "This is our first event and we want to share this special occasion with the patrons so we are doing what is necessary to do just that," Bell emphasised. Presold tickets for regular admission are $5,000 and $5,500 at the gate. VIP presold tickets are for $8,500 and $9,000 at the gate. An ultra VIP will cost patrons $11,500 presold or $13,000 if purchased at the gate. Tickets are available at Paymaster locations islandwide. The InTrendsik Promotions team speared no expense in executing their launch in the Second City. Despite their two-hour late start, they treated invited guest to a 45-minute party boat ride all inclusive of food and drinks that featured soca music on the upper deck while patrons partied to the intoxicating beats of dancehall music on the lower level. Renowned chef Brian Lumley was on board teasing patrons with his delicious treats, something many can expect come October 27, as he will be dishing out his culinary skills for VIP patrons at the event. Queen of the dancehall, Lady Saw and celebrity media personality Miss Kitty partied with patrons and members of the InTrendsik team at the launch event. |
