Passagefort woman on larceny rap |

|
A Portmore woman who reportedly volunteered to return a number of stolen phones has found herself answering larceny charges. She is Ornella Thompson, 23-year-old of Passagefort. When the case was mentioned in court the accused pleaded not guilty. She had her bail extended until November 27 when the matter will again be mentioned. Allegations are that the complainant's business place was broken into and 35 phones stolen. The accused reportedly told him that she could get back the stolen phones for him, and he agreed. She reportedly returned 17 phones to the complainant and was arrested. She was subsequently charged wih simple larceny by Detective Constable Dwight Stephenson of the Portmore Police Station. - R.T. |
