The Area One police have revealed that four of the five men held for last month's Trelawny mob killing have been positively identified during an identification parade, THE STAR has learnt. The deceased, 43-year-old Donovan 'Abbra' Hazley died as a result of an attack by angry residents who ambushed him and his daughter before firebombing their house. Hospitalised Hazley's 18-year-old daughter remains hospitalised since the incident. Information reaching THE STAR is that the men pointed out are expected to be formally charged soon. Assistant Commissioner of Police Devon Watkis, who also heads the Area One Division, made the disclosure on Thursday. Meanwhile, the jungle justice came at a time when the suspected residents from Zion in Trelawny went to Hazley's house in search of a male relative who they believed was responsible for the deaths of two boys whose decomposing bodies were fished from the Martha Brae River. |
