Black90 Records artiste Jegz is fast making a name for himself as his silky smooth single, 'Me She Want', is bombing the airwaves into submission.

The Me She Want radio hit showcases Jegz's signature flow, and his playful bit of braggadocio about why a particular girl loves him, has become a big favourite ofdisc jockeys and selectors who have begun to place the single in rotation.

"Right now, we are in the process of planning a music video for the project which we will shoot this month," Jegz said.

Born on December 5, 1980, in Rowe Town, Clarendon, Jamaica, he was christened Jeffery Campbell, and soon came to the realisation of his love for music at an early age, but never got involved in the dancehall industry until a few years ago.

He has fast earned a reputation as a dynamic stage performer, gracing the stages of shows across the island such as Reggae Yaad, Summer Bash, and many other stage shows. He has worked with producers like Black 90 Records, AR15, Randy Rich, Clever Dave, Smooth face, Mello T and Caveman.

He recently inked a recording and booking deal with Black90 Records and his career is about to take off. Lawrence Andrew Warren, CEO of Black90 Records, is now Jegz's producer/manager, and he has formed a strong friendship and powerhouse musical team that can push the artiste to the next level.

He has released a raft of new singles such as Drop, Jah Shine Di Light, Swag Sweet and he recently did a single called Nuh Skin Teeth on the Mercury rhythm for the Chase Millz Records imprint.

"Mi feel say mi other new single, Nuh Skin Teeth, ah go be the one fi get mi the mainstream acceptance mi need because it is on a popular rhythm, the same one weh Beenie Man say Dweet Again, so mi know it ah go shot," he said.

Jegz is currently working on his debut album and is working hard to make himself a household name and world-renown like the many other successful Jamaican acts.

"It ah happen pon a national scale right now, mi love how Ron Muschette ah deal wid the Me She Want pon IRIE FM. The disc jockey dem from HITZ ah do it to, so right now, it mek the people dem say 'whoi, deejay, it a gwaan', big up Black90 to the world," he said.
