Alleged porn-site mastermind bail extended |

Ronald Oates, the alleged porn-site mastermind had his bail extended when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. Oates, who is facing charges under the Cybercrime Act and the Larceny Act, is to return to court on November 26, when the matter will be mentioned as the file is incomplete. He is accused of hacking into the computers and other devices of unsuspecting persons and removing explicit photos. threatened to post Allegations are that he extorted money from persons whose photos he threatened to post and post some on the Internet. Oates was bailed under strict instructions to stay away from computers, the Internet, and high-tech mobile telephones.
