The happy hour promotion has been running for several months and has led to increased consumer turnout. As part of the recently launched James Bond 'Crack the Case' campaign is an added element that has gained favour with beer lovers. This is the Heineken Happy Hour 'Tun ups' - 2 for 1 beer specials. According to Nasha Douglas, brand manager for Heineken, the brand wanted to bring back happy hour in a big way. "Heineken will be bringing the party to our customers wherever they are," Douglas said. Bars that have had 'Tun ups' include Bar-a-Bar in Gordon Town, St Andrew, and Billy's Skateland in Grange Hill, Westmoreland. "As we celebrate 50 years of James Bond and 50 years of independence, we wanted Jamaicans to celebrate in a special way this year and with their favourite beer, of course," Douglas stated. "It's the perfect combination to celebrate the global Bond franchise while acknowledging Jamaica's integral contribution to the franchise as well," she added. Over the Heroes weekend, the Heineken Bond team passed through Queens Brewery in St Ann, Flavour Beach bar in Runaway Bay and Paula's bar in Lucea. All were extremely successful with many consumers taking advantage of the specials and the excitement brought by the team. Rounding out the month of October, Heineken Happy Hour will take centre stage at Ballys Sports bar, Main Street, Clarendon on October 26. |
