The Kingston Central police seized a 9mm pistol and several rounds of ammunition during an operation at Rum Lane, Kingston, yesterday morning. One man was arrested in connection with the seizure.

Reports are that about 9 a.m., a team of officers conducted an operation in the community, during which premises were searched and the weapon, a Beretta 9mm pistol, along with ten 9mm rounds was seized.

The man's identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
