Anti-lottery scam force arrest three |

|
Three persons are to answer to charges stemming from breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act following their arrest by members of the Anti-Lottery Scam Task Force during an operation at Emerald Place in Bogue Village, St James, yesterday. Information reaching the Constabulary Communication Network is that about 5 a.m., members of the task force and members of the Jamaica Defence Force conducted an operation in the community, during which premises were searched. Lead lists, (lists of telephone numbers, addresses and other such information), cellular phones, a laptop, video game consoles, a Toyota Corolla motor car and a quantity of ganja were seized at the premises. The three, who were found at the premises, were arrested and subsequently charged with possession of ganja. They are: 28-year-old Antony Stewart; 23-year-old Christopher Williams and Shaheen Daley, a 26-year-old bartender. They are to appear in court on Wednesday, October 31. The investigation is ongoing. |
