Drug addict remanded for larceny |

|
A drug addict who has pleaded guilty to larceny by finding was remanded in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. He is Andrew Francis who Resident Magistrate Lorna Shelly-Williams ordered to return to the Drug Court on November 7. Francis was arrested recently after he was found with more than $100,000 worth of motorcycle parts which he couldn't account for. rubbish bin The accused had told the court that he had found the parts in a rubbish bin. "Thank you, Your Honour, because I am now a new person since I have been to rehab. When I was on drugs, I couldn't do even 10 push-ups, but since I have been to rehab, I can do 30 push-ups," the accused told the court before he was whisked away by the police. |
