Woman, grandson shot dead |

Rasbert Turner, Star Writer The rural community of Watermount in St Catherine was plunged into mourning following the slaying of a woman and her grandchild last night. Those murdered have been identified as Pansy Morgan, 53, and six-year-old St Johns Primary School student Kimani Blake. Reports are that about 9:30 p.m., both parties were home when criminals entered their house and killed them. It is reported that residents heard explosions and summoned the police. When the police responded both were found with gunshot wounds. The police are yet to establish a motive in the double homicide. Meanwhile, detectives from the St Catherine North Division are conducting an investigation into the matter. |
