Christmas is fast approaching and the jingle bells of the festivities can be heard lingering in the streets.

LIME Jamaica on Friday, November 16, brought their Christmas cheer in the early morning to its Knutsford Boulevard store for the launch of its Christmas 2012 campaign 'Lucky Number/ Merry Moments' to kick off their Christmas cheer to users of the network.

The telecommunications company brought a frenzy of exciting spectacles to Knutsford Boulevard, which was blocked off, for the morning's events.

A convoy of bicycle stunt riders travelled through the streets of Half-Way Tree to the Knutsford Boulevard store where they displayed various daring stunts for the gathering crowd.

LIME also brought to the streets of New Kingston a touch of winter wonderland with its very own Santa Claus and a number of beautiful ladies clad as elves who arrived in fine style by a 'Brinks' truck as snowflakes sprinkled the streets of the corporate hub. To add to the excitement the telecoms provider gave onlookers a moment to value as they watched the company's parachute stunt performance glide across New Kingston. Passers-by were also treated to a vibrant performance by popular dancehall artiste Aidonia.

As if that wasn't enough, LIME treated the early morning crowd to lots of phone card giveaways and specials with SIM card and handset purchases as well as a 'Buy one get one free' promotion which all were welcomed to enjoy.

"We are always looking for new ways to keep our customers happy not only with our exceptional services but also exciting giveaways and promotions and with our Christmas campaign 'LIME Lucky Number' we hope to create 'Merry Moments' for LIME mobile, landline and Internet customers," said Tara Playfair-Scott, head of entertainment and TV.

The newly launched Lucky Number promotion will see a host of surprises and millions of dollars worth of giveaways going out to active LIME prepaid and post-paid customers. To be a part of the 'Merry Moments', LIME customers need to keep their prepaid phones topped up with at least $200 in calling credit weekly or pay their post-paid mobile, Internet or landline bills on time. From November 15 to December 31 LIME is also giving lucky customers the chance to win the first five digits of their numbers in cash prizes. LIME customers can also look forward to weekly prizes of Nexus 7 Google Tablet, and the new credit-card-thin iPod Nanos Beats Solo HD headphones.

"We had a successful launch this morning at our Knutsford Boulevard store and we look forward to the excitement to follow during this campaign as we give our customers the chance to experience 'Value Every Moment' with LIME," said Scott in closing.
