Men on larceny charge remanded

Two of three men who have been accused of breaking into a female motor vehicle on Westminster Avenue in Kingston recently were remanded in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday.

They are Dalton Porter, and Chester Hamilton who are also charged with Wayne Lawrence.

Lawrence, the court heard, was given station bail and is ill.

All three men have been charged with simple larceny and receiving stolen property.

They are to return to court on November 22.

Allegations are that on the day in question, the complainant's car was broken into after she went to her child's school and parked her vehicle.

The court heard that the complainant's handbag and other items were stolen, however, the accused men were later nabbed by the police and the items recovered.
