TRAINER Anthony 'Baba' Nunes has two fillies, SELECTABOOK and FIERCEANDFABULOUS, in Saturday's line-up for the Pick-3 Super Challenge Trophy, Race 2 in the Supreme Ventures Limited Two-Year-Old Series.

Despite scintillating form being shown at exercise by the colts and geldings, Nunes is hoping the distance of 1400 metres, which suits his runners, will level the playing field in the $3.6m event.

"HOVER CRAFT, ROYAL VIBES and UNCLE TAF are all working exceptional," Nunes told STAR Sports from Barbados yesterday afternoon.

"Both (SELECTABOOK and FIERCEANDFABULOUS) will not have an issue with seven furlongs," he said, putting emphasis on 'not'."

Revealing that Shane Ellis will partner SELECTABOOK and Trevor Simpson will be aboard FIERECEANDFABULOUS, Nunes pointed to their qualities.

"SELECTABOOK is a talented filly and FIERECEANDFABULOUS is a fighter," he said.

Nunes appeared pleased with their workouts, especially SELECTABOOK who won on debut on October 31.

"SELECTABOOK galloped six furlongs Sunday morning, beating PERSIAN BELLE. FIERCEANDFABULOUS raced last week Saturday. Therefore, she will just canter back to the race," he pointed out.

SELECTABOOK hasn't raced since her maiden win. However, FIERECEANDFABULOUS had her third race on November 10, placing third in a blanket finish, short head by short head, behind DIPLOMATCIMMUNITY and BORDER LINE at 1300 metres.

Owen Sharpe's impressive unbeaten gelding, UNCLE TAF, is the ante-post favourite after easily putting away nine runners to land Race One in the series, the October 13 Cash Pot Only One For Me Trophy at 1200 metres.

Sponsored by Supreme Ventures Limited to the tune of $11.7 million, the series concludes on December 26 with the big Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes run over a mile.
